Lenti, Flaminia

Title/s:  Adjunct Professor

Flaminia Lenti is an instructor of Italian Language and Culture. Since 2005, she has been teaching Italian as a second language in different contexts, working with both children and adults, in public and private schools and in American universities in Rome. She earned her Certification in the Teaching of Italian as a Second Language (DITALS) from the University of Siena in 2009.

For many years, she has been involved in social projects with refugees, helping them from their first contact with the Italian language and culture to the exam Italy requires to obtain the long-term Italian residence permit. She likes to combine all these experiences because she believes that being able to communicate and understand the differences between cultures is the best way to get in touch with everyone.
