How to Apply
Congratulations on taking the first step towards your experience in the Eternal City. Whether you're a Loyola University Chicago student or a student from any other partner university, we encourage you to apply to join us in Rome.
In order to apply, you will need:
- The name and email address of your Recommender. Loyola University Chicago students will name their Academic Advisor. All other students will name their Study Abroad Advisor.
- A passport valid for at least 6 months after the end of your desired time abroad (for example: Fall 2020 applicants' passports should be valid through at least June, 2021). Barring that, a transaction receipt from your passport agency confirming your new or renewed passport can be uploaded for application purposes. Students who upload a receipt will be required to submit a passport before they can enroll in classes.
Make sure you've communicated with your Advisor about your plan to go abroad! Students at many universities, including Loyola University Chicago, are required to meet with an advisor prior to being allowed to pursue education abroad.
