John Felice Rome Center

Felice Memorial Night

January 31st marked the commemoration of John Felice and the establishment of the Rome Center fifty years ago. The successful turnout included a number of JFRC staff of the past and present, joined by current JFRC students. Father Albert Anuszewski celebrated the Mass for John Felice and the readings for that day were in perfect accordance with the celebration.

The feast day of Saint John Bosco was also celebrated at the Mass, and Father Al relayed a message connecting John Felice’s mission with that of St. John Bosco. Both inspirational men educated those around them, and were led throughout their lives by a mission to help others and follow their passions.

Vice President and Director Emilio Iodice and Kate Felice present the gifts at the Mass for John Felice

At the prosecco reception after mass, students and staff were graced with the opportunity to meet Kate Felice, the wife of the Rome Center’s founder, and enjoy stories from his life. Over the past fifty years, the legacy of John Felice has inspired students on an inner journey of spiritual growth and development during their time here in Rome. His love of travel and encouragement of students have firmly established the JFRC as a launch pad to a life of learning for all those who pass through the green gate.
