John Felice Rome Center

Balduina and Beyond

The John Felice Rome Center sits atop Monte Mario in the upper Balduina district. The campus spans five acres and is located near the site of a former Olympic village.

The neighborhood of Monte Mario is filled with lush trees and greenery. Just by stepping out of the JFRC doors, students will see local Italians going about their days. And the excitement of downtown Rome is just a bus ride away. After exploring and sightseeing, students will return to this wonderful little oasis above the city on Via Massimi. View neighborhood map.

The nearest bus stop is only two blocks away, providing a short, 15-minute ride to Vatican City or an easy, 30-minute trip to downtown.

Within walking distance are grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, bakeries, a salon, a convenience store, a post office, banks and ATMs, and other small businesses.

We highly recommend that you explore the local community surrounding the JFRC campus! With this useful map of Balduina, our neighborhood, you can see establishments that are easy to access ranging from pharmacies, stores, restaurants, and more!
