Mass of the Holy Spirit
The Mass of the Holy Spirit is a Jesuit tradition that dates back to the foundation of the order. By invoking the Holy Spirit, we ask for guidance and wisdom as we embark on a new semester. At the JFRC, we are privileged to celebrate the Mass of the Holy Spirit in the Basilica of Sant’Ignazio, located in the heart of Rome’s historic city center. Framed by hundreds of years of art and history, as well as the graves of St. Aloysius Gonzaga and St. Robert Bellarmine, this celebration of the Eucharist is one that students will forever remember. Afterwards, the community gathers over a delicious four-course meal at nearby restaurants.
