Loyola Community,

Campus Safety is writing to inform you of a shooting that occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. today near Pratt and Clark. At this time, information is limited, but preliminary reports indicate that four people were shot, one fatally. 

Although the incident occurred nearly a mile off-campus in an area not frequented by our students, we are writing to make sure the community is aware.

The Chicago Police Department is currently investigating the incident. If you have more information about it, please call the Chicago Police Department at 9-1-1.
