Division of Student Development

Director's Welcome

Dear students,

My name is Marissa Lucchesi and I am the Director of Student Activities and Greek Affairs (SAGA). Your involvement as an undergraduate will provide some of the most formative experiences of this chapter in your life. Teaching you to thrive in diverse environments, develop authentic leadership skills, and create a personal connection to Loyola’s Jesuit values are skillsets that are woven into SAGA’s mission. SAGA’s team and amazing student leaders are here to help you strengthen your identity as an individual, a member of your community, and as an agent of change.

I invite you to join a registered student organization, a sorority or fraternity, or the Department of Programming (DOP). Embrace who you are as a commuter student, go for that next level of leadership, and serve as a mentor to students who are learning to navigate the collegiate environment. Take advantage of the services we provide through Iggy’s Cupboard and help us plan special events that impact all of Loyola’s community. Make sure to log into LUConnect so you can stay up to date with your favorite organization and SAGA’s signature events. SAGA is here to help you get involved, move forward in your own development, and leave a legacy.

I wish you the best as you move forward with your Loyola experience this year, and look forward to seeing you at our programs this year.

Sincerely,

Marissa Lucchesi
