Coordinator for Sorority and Fraternity Life at Loyola University Chicago, Emily Koneval

Emily joined the SAGA Team at Loyola University Chicago in July 2018 as the Coordinator for Sorority & Fraternity Life and Senior Send Programs. She received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management at Iowa State University and her Masters of Arts in College Student Personnel at Bowling Green State University. Emily most recently served as a Fraternity & Sorority Life Advisor at Bowling Green State University. In her previous role, she served as the Panhellenic Council and Multicultural Greek Council advisor as well as working closely with educational and leadership programs. Emily is passionate about promoting holistic student learning, leadership development, and empowerment through the co-curricular experiences. Originally from Illinois, she is excited to return to the Chicagoland area to explore all that the city has to offer in food, music, sports, and community engagement.

Garrison Thomas  

Graduate Assistant for Sorority & Fraternity Life

Garrison is excited to serve as the SFL Graduate Assistant here at Loyola University Chicago. Garrison comes to Chicago from Florida where he just recently received his bachelor’s degree from Florida Gulf Coast University. He will be pursuing his Masters of Education in Higher Education starting this fall. He is an initiated member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and strongly believes in giving back to the youth in the community and empowering others to be the best version of themselves. Coming from a small town in Florida, Garrison is excited to explore, learn and embrace all that Chicago and Loyola have to offer.
