New faces have joined the Student Academic Services team. To get to know our new members, we thought we’d ask them a few questions.
Mary NeCastro - Office Coordinator, SAS
Q: When did you start working at SAS?
A: I started working at Student Academic Services in the beginning of January.
Q: Where did you go to college and what did you major in?
A: I was an English major here at Loyola, class of 2016.
Q: What is your favorite part of working at Loyola?
A: Everyone here has a friendly, welcoming attitude. It’s relaxed, but people are taking their work seriously. It's a good balance between caring about what's happening, but recognizing that we just want to get along. Everyone is on the same page; we’re here to help the students. It’s an easy mission to get behind.
Q: What is a fun fact about you?
A: I like to cook. I make pasta and Italian food, but I’ll cook whatever. I can’t bake, though.
Q: If you could give Loyola students any piece of advice what would it be?
A: Things work out the way they’re supposed to. All you can do is do what you think is right at that moment and keep trying to make the right choices. Trust that you’re doing the best you can.
