After speaking to Campus Safety about the need for a detailed crime alerts system, a new university position was created to assist in these efforts. Anna Shymanski Zach was hired to University Marketing & Communications as a communications specialist, and SGLC has been working with her to identify nationwide examples of crime alert systems and the best way to implement these models at Loyola.
