Rose Spinelli teaches Public Speaking at Loyola University of Chicago, Mundelein Center. She also operates The Crowdfundamentals, a boutique business that helps individuals, social enterprises, and entrepreneurs achieve crowdfunding success. An early adopter, she identified good storytelling as a key component to connecting with your audience and was listed one of the “100 Most Influential Crowdfunding Thought Leaders Today,” in 2014. She has been an independent journalist for over two decades and was a founding editor for Time Out Chicago magazine. She is filmmaker whose documentary, Baking Bread, was screened at the Chicago Humanities Festival in 2005. She is also a former development director for Inspiration Café. Rose shares her own stories by performing around town for such groups as 2nd Story and the Moth as often as she can.
