Sydney has wanted to be a journalist since before she can remember. After growing up in a small, rural town in South Carolina, she decided to move to Chicago for her undergraduate degree. After taking a variety of courses during her first three years, she realized that she wanted to be more than just a reporter or a writer. Sydney now has video, photo and digital design skills in addition to writing and reporting. She doesn't know exactly what she wants to do for her career, but she knows it will combine all of her newly gained knowledge, skills, and talents.
