Junior standing; SOWK 200; PSYC 101; ANTH 101 or equivalent; or chair's permission.

Description

This course draws from biological, behavioral and social sciences content. Social systems theory, its applicability to understanding social functioning and the effects of larger systems on human interaction. Human diversity as an integral part of the knowledge base necessary for working with people. Theory and concepts are applied to social work practice.
