What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
My colleagues. When my husband and I moved here in 1988, we left all of our friends and family behind in California. We felt welcomed here right away, and through the years, the people at Loyola became our family, as well as our colleagues.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
The most memorable achievement for me each year is Commencement. Our office is instrumental in the organization of the event, and it is wonderful to see the students and their families so happy as they receive their diplomas. It also provides a great opportunity for faculty and staff to come together and celebrate the culmination of another academic year.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
The element of service and giving back to the community, as well as educating the whole person, is important to me. Loyola's teaching of ethics and moral responsibility is one of the many reasons I chose to send my son here.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
My wonderful colleagues and my loving family. That, and the strong work ethic instilled in me by my mom.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
Every morning, I drink my much-needed coffee from a Loyola mug.

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
Most people think I am a Californian, and I did grow up there, but I was actually born in Pittsburgh, PA.
