What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
My colleagues! I love the sense of community at Loyola. It is great to feel supported and encouraged at work. I get to work with great people, not just within my department, but across the University.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
I’ve worked on too many projects to count. My favorite projects are those where I eventually get to see the results of my research implemented on campus. The best example of that is research our team has done to support the creation of the new Institute of Environmental Sustainability. Before the institute was created, we conducted research about sustainability-related degrees that was used to guide the creation of the institute and its academic programs. Every time I walk by the new building, I am reminded that our research has a real impact on campus.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
For me, the service element of our mission means that being a staff member is more than just a job. Whether it is participating in the annual service day, participating in LUC & ME as a mentor, or helping a lost student find their classroom, I try to find ways to give back.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
My colleagues constantly drive me to succeed with their high standards and excellent talent. I am also inspired by the idea that our research helps improve the admissions experience of future students.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
I always give Loyola gear to my friends and family for the holidays. As a staff member and graduate student, I like to share my love of the school with those who don't know about Loyola.

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I am originally from the East Coast, so despite Chicago’s great sports scene, I will always be a Boston Red Sox fan!
