What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
I’m not sure that I have one favorite. The people I’m lucky enough to work with, the friendships I’ve made, the families that give their all for their children to attend Loyola—all of these. There’s also the perk of seeing the lake each day, listening to the chapel bells, and the opportunities for continued learning. There are many good things!

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
Helping students achieve their graduation goals. Watching them cross the stage at commencement and knowing I had a part in making that possible gives me a great sense of accomplishment.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
Caring for others so they can become the best, most creative, unique people God has created them to be.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
Gratitude. I’ve been blessed with so much. All I can give in return is my best each and every day.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees while working here. I wear Loyola on my shirtsleeve—sometimes literally. It’s certainly an expression of who I am day-to-day.

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I had the opportunity to spend two weeks in Tanzania this summer. I traveled to three national parks on safari, camped in the Serengeti, and visited a Masai tribal village. The people I met in Moshi and the surrounding area simply stole my heart, and I have memories to last a lifetime.
