What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
I really enjoy being able to help students, especially if I can make things easier for them.  In addition, I enjoy working with my co-workers.  Everyone is friendly, conscientious, and interested in the best way, so we can be of service to our students.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
While this isn’t really an achievement, I love being a Marshall for commencement.  It’s exciting being with students and their families as they reach completion of their degrees after all their hard work.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
Making a difference for students, faculty, and staff as much as I can.  In addition, I’m very proud of our degree programs that all emphasize social justice and being in service to others, especially as students are out in the community implementing the mission.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
Knowing that what I do can make things a bit easier for others, especially students.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
I talk about how awesome our programs are and how we emphasize students becoming leaders who make a difference, no matter what position they are in.

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I love to do English Country Dance. It is the kind of dance you see in movies like “Pride & Prejudice” or like the “Virginia Reel.”  There’s a group in Evanston I dance with regularly and even a couple of weekend events that include evening balls with people wearing period clothing.
