What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
The vibrant campus community, particularly during the fall and spring semesters. Students, faculty, and staff are all busily moving about campus. There’s truly nothing like it and there’s an energy, which is infectious.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
Providing the research that helped establish the Institute of Environmental Sustainability.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
Giving back. We are all very fortunate to be part of such an amazing community. As such, I think it’s of paramount importance that we maintain a focus on providing students the best possible opportunity to learn and grow.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
Seeing new students come to campus for the first time and prospective students visiting. One can see the excitement, and it makes working toward improving the student experience that much more gratifying.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
My wife was an undergraduate student at Loyola back in the day. Marrying a Rambler is about as committed as you can get!

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
A few years back, my wife and I decided to visit a different national park every year. We’ve hit Acadia, in Maine, and Glacier, in Montana, to date. Next up is Olympic in Washington.
