What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
One of my favorite things is seeing our students evolve during their time here at Loyola, watching them celebrate their successes, overcome their challenges, and become stronger men and women through their experiences. I have the pleasure of seeing many of our business students at Orientation and watching them cross the stage at Commencement.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
Over the last three years, I feel that the Quinlan School of Business has created a student community. With the addition of new co-curricular programing such as our annual case competition, the Quinlan Ramble, and the many other events I get to work on. We have created a holistic experience for our students. The tools that we have implemented build upon what they are learning in the classroom, and in internships, better prepares them for their future.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
Being an alum of another Jesuit university and of our own School of Education, the values of Loyola University Chicago resonate with me. Jesuit education provides the space to respectfully ask the hard questions, to learn from one other, and with that knowledge have a better understanding of ourselves and our values. Our social justice commitment pushes us to engage with the Chicago community and gives us a pathway to forge relationships with those we meet along the way.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
My family and friends here at Loyola, our students, and many of the people I am fortunate to work with each and every day are driving forces behind the work that I get to do.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
I like helping out or attending campus wide events. I enjoy seeing students, faculty and staff outside of our normal environments. Whether it is cheering for the Ramblers at a game, or serving pancakes at finals breakfast, it is great to be part of the Rambler Community. I also have a lot of Loyola Quinlan gear. I even own maroon and gold Crocs.

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I have been singing since I was 10.  During the school year I sing with the choir at the 9 p.m. Mass at Madonna della Strada.
