What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
Besides Tivo? Working with both current and prospective students. You get to see how the college experience extends back into high school, why students choose Loyola, what expectations they have of college, and how that changes throughout their years here.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
That's easy: when the Undergraduate Admission Office won the Team Spirit Award! Recruiting a freshman class is a huge team effort, so it was great to have the whole team recognized.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
The importance in questioning everything, starting with one's own values and basic assumptions, and the willingness to follow where that leads. That critical process is the root of meaningful change.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
Ever since I started, I've had co-workers who are on an entirely different level with the work they do. They've informed so much of what I value in this job and what I aspire to be as a professional. After six years, they are still way ahead of me, but I'm really proud of what I've picked up from them.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
For the first five years of working at Loyola, I coached the Darkwing, the club ultimate frisbee team that I played when I went to Loyola. Last year I hung up that hat, so that I could reprise my role as a Loyola student. I hope to graduate with an MBA next year.

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I once climbed the rope in Halas gym in a full suit during the set-up of an admission event. I almost didn't make it back down.
