What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
I know it sounds trite, but the people at Loyola are the best. I've worked for several different Chicago corporations, and I've never met a more committed group of people. Their dedication to Loyola's mission and one another is the true spirit of Loyola.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
Every June 30, the end of the fiscal year for the University, knowing that I've done everything possible in assisting departments and colleagues in successfully spending their budgets.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
I believe in the proverb that it takes a village to raise a child. I feel that all of us at Loyola play an integral role in educating our students to be the impetus for a better world.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
The urge toward personal growth and following the Golden Rule. I am inspired by the words the Dalai Lama said in describing religion: emphasize human improvement, love, respect for others, sharing other people's suffering. The more we care for the happiness of others, the greater our own sense of well-being.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
I encourage my friends to work here. Whenever I know someone is looking for a new opportunity, I tell them what a wonderful place Loyola is to work.

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I was a stay-at-home mom for eight years and used to get busted weekly by Campus Safety for letting my boys ride their tricycles on the university track.
