What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
Why do I have to pick just one thing?! The staff, faculty and students at Loyola are my favorite “things”. I love being surrounded by smart, talented, funny, kind, generous, committed and motivated people!!
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
Well, memorable can mean a lot of different things! I would say helping to plan the Feast of St. Ignatius Day Picnic was a memorable achievement, and I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to support Father Katsouros with hiring staff for Arrupe College!
What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
Loyola’s mission means giving back to the world around you. Loyola’s mission means using the talents and skills and knowledge you have been given to find a way to care for others, a little bit more, every day.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
I am motivated to succeed every day by the knowledge that so many people have given to me and I want to give back. I am motivated by the knowledge that I can make a difference, if I try, if I care and if I keep learning. I am also highly motivated by my never-ending “to-do” list!!
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
I have a Loyola umbrella, a Loyola key chain, several t-shirts, mugs, hats, a Loyola blanket at home. I’m also determined to get to a couple basketball games; I already have the pom-poms!
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
Hmmm…What won’t surprise many people is that I am madly in love with my 10-year-old shih tzu, Chaucer! If you’ve been by my office or talked to me for more than 10 seconds, you will know!
