What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
I love that I get to be a part of a department that is committed to excellence when dealing with students, donors, and fellow employees. Our department has undergone several adjustments, and everyone here has been able to “roll with the punches” and continue to keep the department moving without missing a step! I get to see first-hand all of the successes from that and have an active hand in supporting that. Attending the fundraising events and being given a reason to play “dress up” is a big perk too!

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
I would say receiving my first Magis Award and being honored for doing something that was more than likely viewed as minute by myself, but was greatly appreciated by another to even nominate me for such a thing made me feel real special and honored inside!

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
I appreciate that the institution’s mission is focused on having a high ethical standard of morals in the service of humanity, for the diversity of the students and staff and trying to inculcate that into their education system here in the University as well as with the patients in the Hospital. That means the world to me as I have the same belief system.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
God, my family, and my love for people.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
I try to participate in as many campus activities as I possibly can and, if my schedule allows, things that are held off campus as well.

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
Every weekend I volunteer my time to assist others in the community with various religious backgrounds by offering free, home Bible study courses.
