What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
My most favorite thing about working at Loyola is the culture. I am surrounded by amazing colleagues, aspiring students, and endless opportunities to always learn something new. I am extremely proud to work alongside so many caring, dedicated, and inspiring professionals.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
Hearing positive feedback from my students and witnessing how excited they get after they understand the purpose of homework, projects, lectures, etc.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
Loyola's mission encourages compassion, continuous learning, respect for diversity, ethical behavior, and service for humanity. It focuses on building confidence in our students to in return make them better equipped to one day help underserved communities and less fortunate around them. It is the Loyola way of spreading good karma into the world.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
That smile of confidence and achievement every student and family member has on graduation day; that is what motivates me to succeed each and every day at Loyola. I want every student to walk that stage with pride and confidence the same way I did. I also want every family member to experience the same feeling of happiness when they see their loved ones walk that stage. I remember how I felt when my first-born daughter walked the stage at her graduation. Then three years later both my daughter and son walked the same stage: my daughter for her master’s and my son for his bachelor’s. I cried, I laughed, I smiled, and last but not least, I took a deep breath and thought: “We did it!… Thank you, God!!”

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
Oh I love attending as many sports games as possible! We have the best student athletes ever and I am supportive and very proud of each and every one of them!

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I am a first-generation college graduate, and amongst my two children and myself, we have five Loyola degrees from Quinlan School of Business framed in our home office.
