What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
The work/life balance and my colleagues. I am inspired daily by the hard-working individuals in my department and throughout the entire University, especially those who are balancing family life with work. It's a nice reminder that the work culture is extremely supportive of life outside the office.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
I would have to say working on the "All about that faith" parody video. From start to finish, it was an awesome experience to see my idea and vision come to life in such a fun way that allowed me to be creative and really show my love for everything Loyola.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
The mission, to me, means strive for greatness and inclusivity. Diversity is such a great asset to any organization, and the fact that our mission states that we pride ourselves on diversity inspires me to expand my daily outlook on life.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
It may sound strange to be motivated by success, but continued achievement is something I strive for every day. I remember when I first started working (at the Chicago Tribune), and I was so excited to have my first article published, but what I didn't expect was the feeling that followed. I had built up this huge moment and goal to strive for, and once it was over, I realized I was nowhere near done chasing my goals. I strive every day to have one accomplishment, even if it's as small or silly as "clean the kitchen."

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
I am a huge Ramblers basketball fan and have even been a season ticket holder. I try to make it to as many games as possible, and love watching the away games on my couch. Onward LU!

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I am a master Halloween costume creator, ranging from George Michael to the Queen's corgi to Mrs. Doubtfire - I've even won the UMC costume contest three years in a row!
