Jacob joined Loyola in December 2016 as a study abroad advisor. Before Loyola, Jacob worked for an intercultural learning organization which facilitated study abroad programs for current and recently graduated high school students. Studying abroad has always been a pivotal part of his life and he has studied abroad several times throughout the years, once in high school, once in college and then again for his master’s degree. A lover of the German culture and Language, Jacob has lived about 7 years in Germany in several different locations. When he is not travelling, he enjoys exploring new areas of Chicago, spending time with family and friends, watching movies, playing video games, and playing volleyball. His travels include Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
