Course Description
The objective of this course is to provide students with a basic understanding of the general principles of business finance: capital investment, financing, capital structure, and related areas including the basics of valuation. Outcomes: Students will demonstrate basic knowledge of financial analysis, time value of money, financial decision making, the valuation of financial and physical assets, the risk-return tradeoff, capital budgeting, and dividend policy.FINC 301 fulfills the Business Core requirement for non-finance majors and minors. If you are planning to major or minor in Finance, you must take FINC 334.
