Course Description
This course examines the characteristics of effective teams and team players in an organizational context and covers theories and concepts of team composition, roles and leadership, decision making, team charters, conflict management, team networks and international teams. Students will gain an understanding of team processes and team performance in organizations, learn tools that make teams effective, develop team skills and practice creating, monitoring and improving an ongoing team effort.This is a writing intensive class. A grade of C- or better in UCWR 110 is required to enroll.
