Course Description
PHYS 111 and 112 provide a non-calculus introduction to physics. Topics include electricity and magnetism, sound, optics, and selected topics from modern physics. Outcomes: Understand and apply electromagnetism to 2- and 3-dimensional problems in physical and biological sciences.Registration for Phys 112 217 includes automatic registration for Phys 112 317, an additional mandatory lect/disc hour.
