PLSC 213

Students will select specific types of human rights and specific countries to conduct individual research on current human rights situations. Much of the course material consists of recent films and documents from websites of international organizations. Students have a choice between completing several short papers or one longer one. Due to the importance of the topic, this course has recently been reintroduced in the permanent curriculum of the in the Law and Politics minor (fulfilling the "International Law" course requirement) and the Political Science and Global Studies majors and minors (as an elective).
