Course Description
The course instructs students in the conventions of academic writing and research. Students will learn strategies for process-based drafting, research, and argumentation, develop flexible strategies for generating, revising, and editing their writing, and will receive instruction on how to write clear, error-free prose. The course will cover critical reading and thinking, rhetorical argumentation, the recursive writing-process, and information/research literacies. After completing the course, students will be able to write clearly and effectively, tailoring writing and rhetorical strategies to the goals and audience of a given project.UCWR 110-002 #2387 is being taught in person at the LSC.
