Volunteer in the Searle Biodiesel Lab

Want to see what it's like to work in the Searle Biodiesel Lab? Interested in a future internship but want to try it our first? Love the smell of french fry grease?!?

Come volunteer in the student-operated Searle Biodiesel Lab. Volunteers will work directly with trained student interns in the lab. No prior knowledge or training needed.

To Volunteer, you must:

  • Sign-up for a volunteer slot ahead of time on the door of the Searle Biodiesel Lab. First come, first serve.
  • Wear closed-tor shoes and pants when volunteering.
  • Let us know (either on the sing-up sheet or via email) if you are not going to be able to attend the full volunteer slot.
  • Be willing to help with anything: fuel production, soap production, filtering oil, bottling soap, etc.
