Ms. Katie Klemme has worked as a producer and stage manager based in the Chicagoland area for over fifteen years. Her most recent producing credits include 1.5 seasons as Managing Director for American Theater Company including 2 world premieres and two Chicago premieres.
In her 3 seasons as Managing Director for Pegasus Players highlights included a month-long tour to India in coordination with the US Department of State. Additionally, she assisted in the management of international exchange programs between Egypt, Jordan, the UK and students in the Chicago Public Schools through the theatre's Global Voices program.
In her 4 seasons as Managing Director of the Organic Theater Company she produced numerous world and Midwest premieres including the winner of the 2001 Kennedy Center Award for New American Plays. As a production stage manager, her regional credits include SORIN (National Tour, University of Notre Dame), Geva Theatre Center (Rochester, NY), ArtsEmerson (Boston, MA), Todd+Bryan Presents (Las Vegas, NV).
Chicagoland credits include work at Northlight, Victory Gardens, American Theater Company (Resident Stage Manager 2008-2018), Theater Wit, About Face Theater, Windy City Playhouse, Buffalo Theatre Ensemble, among others. Additionally, she serves as a sub ASM for Hamilton: An American Musical in Chicago. She is a proud member of Actors Equity Association, the union for professional actors and stage managers.
