About

Theresa Ham is a theatrical costume designer who has designed for over 100 theatrical productions including plays, musicals and opera. Selections include Ride the Cyclone (Off-Broadway), Something Wicked This Way Comes (Delaware Theatre Company), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Paramount Theatre), Carmen (Fingerlakes Opera), and Something Rotten! (Marriott Theatre). In Chicago, her work has been seen at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Paramount Theatre, Marriott Theatre, Victory Gardens, Porchlight Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, Raven Theatre, Timeline Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Stage Left, and Bohemian Theatre Ensemble. Regional highlights include: Alliance Theatre, Asolo Theatre, ACT Theatre, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Ogunquit Playhouse, First Stage, and Florentine Opera. Film credits: Paper Girls (Amazon Prime) and Hot Mess Holiday (Comedy Central). Theresa is the recipient of 3 Joseph Jefferson Awards for Outstanding Costume Design, and 12 additional nominations. She also received the 2018 Barrymore Award for Outstanding Costume Design. Prior teaching experience includes adjunct instruction at Wilbur Wright College and Columbia College Chicago.
