‌2018-2019 Activation and Deactivation Dates

Each qualifying program has unique dates that the U-Pass team uses for activation, new pass production, and deactivation of all transit cards. The following dates are approximate to show important dates that students should be aware regarding the activation and deactivation of their U-Pass benefit.

2018-2019 Fall and Spring U-Pass activation dates*

*All Passes Deactivate at 11:59pm on the Deactivation Date listed. All Passes activate at in the early morning of the date listed.

*Passes are valid for 5 years. Lost or stolen U-Pass will incur a $50 replacement fee
*Students who register late may not have a pre-printed pass. These students must visit U-Pass Distribution to make sure passes are ordered and to receive a temporary transit pass. 

Registration Deadline: The last day for new and existing students have to qualify for U-Pass in LOCUS  and have their U-Pass turned on by the  activation date. The U-Pass team will make every effort to activate the U-Pass benefit for qualifying students after this date but cannot guarantee activation. 

Late registering students: After this date, students should expect their U-Passes activated 3-4 business days after they register as full-time students in LOCUS. Late registering students are encouraged to visit U-Pass distribution to get their existing U-Pass activated. 

New Students only: The first week of classes, the U-Pass team will distribute new passes to students. It is recommended all new students visit U-Pass distribution, times and dates are listed here
