Loyola University Chicago

Vietnam Center

Students with Disabilities

Loyola recognizes the dignity of each individual and respect for the human person. To the extent possible, students with special needs who attend the Vietnam Center are provided with the university's reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities. Please note that students with physical limitations should consult with your health care provider and the Vietnam Center staff to make sure that you can access all elements of the Vietnam Center experience.

Please make sure you take these steps to request accommodations:

  • Students must contact Loyola's Coordinator of Student Accessibility as early as possible and no later than four weeks before their departure for Ho Chi Minh City. Visiting students will need to have their home institution send your accommodation letter to our Student Accessibility Center.
  • All students must present documentation which describes their disability and makes recommendations for appropriate accommodations. Students from institutions other than Loyola University Chicago are also urged to provide a letter from their home institution describing the services and accommodations they have received there. Letters can be mailed to the address below or emailed to SAC@LUC.edu.
  • The coordinator of our Student Accessibility Center and the Vietnam Center will work together to provide appropriate accommodations. All inquiries should be directed to:
