Beatriz Gonzalez, MSW, LCSW, joined the Wellness Center in November of 2021. Beatriz received both her undergraduate degree and Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to joining the Wellness Center, Beatriz provided therapeutic services at Catholic Charities- Youth and Family Therapeutic Services department as a mental health clinician. Beatriz has used short and long-term case management/counseling services as well as stabilization and support services to individuals and families needing specialized intensive case management and behavioral health services. Beatriz is bilingual in Spanish/English and enjoys working with a diverse population, especially underrepresented individuals. Beatriz aims to continue providing resources needed to individuals in need of additional support. When Beatriz is not at work, she enjoys long-nature walks, trying out new coffee spots, or catching up on the newest binge-worthy TV show.
