Heide Vallez is a registered nurse who joined the wellness center in March 2023. Heide is a new graduate who obtained her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Resurrection University. She obtained her associate in applied science from Malcolm X College in 2019. Prior to working at the Wellness Center, she worked at a federal qualified health center for 10 years. This allowed Heide to develop her clinical and leadership skills. Heide enjoys working with all ages, especially the pediatric and elderly population. 

Heide is very excited to work at the wellness center and is excited for the adventures to come. Heide grew up in Humboldt Park and currently resides there with her husband and four children. She enjoys outdoor settings and creating memories with her children. When Heide is not working, she enjoys cooking new recipes to become a great cook like her mother. She also LOVES Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh!
