Dr. Alam Khan is board certified in internal medicine and has been a physician at the Loyola Wellness Center since 1996. Dr. Khan received his medical degree at Dow Medical University in Pakistan. Subsequently, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago with a special interest in hypertension and diabetes. His responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating students for a variety of acute illnesses. Dr. Khan is also the collaborating physician for the Wellness Center's nurse practitioner. He has had a private practice the north side of Chicago for the past 10 years. Currently he is a faculty member for medical students and residents at Saint Joseph's Hospital. Dr. Khan likes to travel and to rollerblade.
