Danny Rone is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who joined the Wellness Center in May 2022.  Danny endeavors to be a person for others and believes in standing alongside clients in solidarity, a personal mission that has deep roots in Jesuit values and the Narrative Worldview.  By working with Danny, he hopes that students will feel that they have a companion on their journey to explore their relationship with problems and move away from believing that they themselves are a problem.  Danny has experience supporting people with concerns related to academic difficulties, grief and loss, identity formation, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-harm and suicidal ideation, and trauma.  As a gay man, Danny has a passion for serving members of the LGBTQIA+ community in particular.  Danny has worked in a variety of contexts, including acute inpatient, community mental health, emergency rooms, group private practice, and higher education.  Danny holds his B.S. in Psychology and B.A. in Spanish from Loyola University Chicago, his MSW and Latinx Leadership Certificate from Boston College, and his Narrative Therapy Certificate from the Narrative Therapy Initiative.
