Kenneth Stratton serves as a Mental Health Counselor for Athletics with a focus on supporting BIPOC student athletes. He began his work with Loyola University Chicago in March of 2022. He earned his M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling and B.S. in Psychology and Family/Child Studies from Northern Illinois University. Kenneth experience in the field of Mental Health and Internal Healing spans across multiple populations including but not limited to: Incarcerated youth and/or adults, At-risk and impoverished youth, LGBTQ community, moderate to significant mental or physical impairment, transitioning adults, and individuals experiencing high stress or unresolved trauma. He is highly passionate about providing effective person-centered methods to all people in need no matter age, class, race, or circumstance.  

Kenneth prides himself as being a Cognitive-Behavioral therapist with emphasizes on person centered practices. He considers himself to be a helper to all people, no matter the variables. Kenneth is a Therapist whose main mission is to empower people with the internal and external tools needed to help face and conquer every situation. He sees himself as a valuable guide, assisting individuals or groups on their journey to reach their highest quality of life possible - however that may look in therapy or direct-service. His therapeutic encounters will facilitate opportunities for you to offer yourself self-compassion, empathy, and grow your self-awareness en-route to accomplishing your goals.
