Graduate Tutor, MA & PhD in English

Dan is a first year PhD student in the English Department with a focus on Modern and Contemporary Fiction. His areas of interest include Modernism and Post-Modernism, Narratology and Theory of the Novel. He has a BA in English from Allegheny College (2017) and an MFA in Fiction Writing from the University of Oregon (2022). He hopes to maintain a life beyond graduate studies that involves creative writing, running, listening to music and getting out on the town with his dog, Seymour.

Specialties: Idea generation, close reading, literary analysis, thesis development and content organization.
