Fatima Rasoul

Graduate Tutor, MSW/MA in Women's Studies and Gender Studies

Fatima is in the MSW/MA Women's Studies and Gender Studies dual degree program and is on the Macro Leadership track. She is primarily focused on the relationship between racism, state-sanctioned violence, resistance, and community health. Her other research interests include Kurdish and transnational feminism; decolonialism; and strategies of feminist resistance in everyday life. When it comes to writing, she specializes in idea generation and content organization. She obtained a BS in Political Science and a BS in Gender Studies from the University of Utah. In her free time, she enjoys community building, reading, spending time with her cat and indulging in reality tv.
