Sarah Jeffries

Graduate Tutor, Writing Fellow, MA in Women & Gender Studies 

Sarah Jeffries is a graduate student in the Women and Gender Studies M.A. program studying the intersection of literature and queer theory through a feminist lens. Her research interests include Post-war era women’s literature, literary history, lesbian pulp fiction, gothic horror, postmodernism, and pop-cultural studies. Sarah holds a B.A. in English and Women & Gender Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In her down time she enjoys yoga, thrift store treasure hunting, playing with her dog, and reading.

Specialties: MLA & APA formatting, thesis development, identifying textual evidence, argument formation, paper organization, and engaging with literary and theoretical texts to formulate an argument.
