Krislyn Zhorne is a third-year PhD student at Loyola University Chicago where she is currently studying early modern English literature. Her research interests include textual and historical criticism of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, predominantly focusing on the ways in which texts are a product of and representative of their society and time period. Prior to her acceptance into Loyola's program, Krislyn taught English Literature and Composition at the secondary level while receiving her Master's degree.

In her spare time, you will find Krislyn enjoying a game night with friends, relaxing with her cats, and rewatching the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings/Hobbit series for the hundredth time.

Specialties: Outlining, thesis statements, body paragraph structure, grammar, MLA/APA formatting procedures, book history, textual studies, and Shakespeare.
