Mary Lutze is just finishing the fifth year of her doctoral degree. She successfully defended her dissertation in early February 2020 and is looking forward to her third graduation from postsecondary institutions. Her research interests include early modern attitudes toward blindness and deafness after the Reformation, disability theory, Shakespeare, metaphysical poetry, supernatural literature, and Deaf theatre. In her spare time, you might find her sipping cabernet sauvignon or binging Buffy the Vampire Slayer (often at the same time).
