Loyola University Chicago Welcomes Lauren Serra Henderson BA ’13 to Board of Trustees

CHICAGO – September 26, 2022

At its quarterly meeting, Loyola University Chicago’s Board of Trustees elected Lauren Serra Henderson BA ’13 as a Trustee with an initial term ending in 2025.

Board Chair Susan S. Sher JD ’74 congratulated the newest member, “We are pleased to have Lauren Serra Henderson joining our Board. Her professional expertise and passion for Loyola as an alumna of the University make her a strong partner in our duty to steward and uphold Loyola’s mission and the institution’s Jesuit commitments to academic excellence, social justice, and sustainability.”

Henderson is the founder of Lauren Serra, LLC. She works with clients in a variety of industries to build and improve their brand and communication strategies. She is also a partner with Open Chair Technologies, a consultancy and collaborative based in Chicago, where she develops growth marketing strategies for tech startups.

Prior to her career in communications, Henderson was a musical theatre performer appearing in productions throughout the Midwest. She earned her BA in Theatre and Dance from Loyola in 2013, where she earned the distinction of graduating as the first dance major at the University.
