School of Communication hosts FOIA Fest

February 14, 2019

Tickets are running out for the Chicago Headline Club's FOIA Fest, a daylong conference dedicated to public information. The event, at Loyola University Chicago's School of Communication, features panels and workshops with leading journalists, attorneys and community groups. What's more, this year we are hosting a FOIA Clinic, where you get to ask questions privately to top FOIA experts.

Our keynote speaker is Todd Wallack, an investigative and data reporter for the Boston Globe’s Spotlight team. He’s a four-time Pulitzer finalist, including in 2018 for a series that explored racism in Boston. Prior to joining the Globe, Wallack worked for the San Francisco Chronicle, the Dayton Daily News and the Boston Herald. He’s a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

When: Sat., Feb. 23, 2019
Time: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Loyola University Chicago -- Schreiber Center (16 E. Pearson St. Chicago, IL 60611)
