About

Since joining Loyola in 2018, Dr. Pettis Kent has taught a number of classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels including service operations, supply chain strategy, quality management, and strategic sourcing.

His current research addresses the development of strategies to effectively manage knowledge when firms move production processes, both within and between countries. He also is conducting research with both private and public sector organizations that address the efficacy of supply chain strategies and their impact on performance.

Prior to academia, Pettis enjoyed a 12+ year career developing and managing supply chains throughout North America, Europe and Asia for The Procter and Gamble Company.
