Creating scholar-practitioners to be agents of change.

The Jesuit tenet of cura personalis - care for the whole person - is the cornerstone of our program. The individual attention from our faculty means opportunities from research to applied experience for our students. Our programs help promote our graduates in the next phase of their careers.

We teach how to apply social justice principles across all educational experiences. And we believe diverse representation begins with us. We are the only program in the country where 100% of our faculty are persons of color. Our graduates often land in student affairs or development positions, as well as community-based organizations.

Degrees Offered:

Loyola University Chicago's EdD in Higher Education will prepare you for executive-level leadership in higher education institutions.
